How does pre-settlement funding work?

Injury Settlement Lawsuit Funding

Get from $1000 to $100,000 while you wait for your injury settlement.

If you’re involved in a lawsuit, you may be expecting a settlement for your injuries. You can check with your lawyer for legal information relating to the type of case you are pursuing. The law firm may not know you that can get cash funding for your injury settlement.

Washington Funding Services does not provide legal information to help in your case, but we do provide funding for many types of cases. The most common types are listed below. Find the type of lawsuit or injury settlement that applies to you.

The simple easy three step process:

The injury applicant (or his/her attorney) can either:

    1. Simply call our number 1(866) 484-FUND and talk with a qualified representative.
    2. Provide his/her name, address, telephone number and e-mail address to WFS by completing and submitting the simple on-line "Contact Us" form, in which event an WFS representative will call to get the necessary information, e.g., the details of the claim/case including a description of the accident/incident, the injuries, damages, etc.
    3. Complete the application either online, or print out the application, complete it, and submit it by fax.

Upon receipt of the necessary details of the claim/case, WFS will carefully evaluate the information and will then provide the applicant with a proposal advising the amount of money WFS can provide, as well as the cost of said funding. Importantly, if there is no recovery then there is no cost, and you owe WFS nothing.

Upon acceptance of the proposal, the injury applicant and WFS enter into a Lien Purchase Agreement, with the knowledge of the applicant's attorney (whose only function is to apprise WFS of any superior liens of which he/she is aware, to periodically advise WFS of the status of the claim/case, and to agree to pay WFS the amount to which it is entitled, AFTER ATTORNEY'S FEES AND COSTS from the proceeds of the case, IF ANY) and a check is issued and sent overnight the same day the Agreement is received and approved, or WFS can wire transfer the funds to our client's bank account.
